Floral Embroidered Dress OOTD

This is by far one of my favorite casual dresses because it's really unique with the floral embroidery and crochet-type detailing. I loved it so much I bought two of them, I got mine from Bloomingdale's and Free People. I saw it in a magenta color too but it's sold out -- if you find it anywhere let me know! They run large so I suggest going down a size when purchasing; it's a trapeze style dress so it doesn't hug your body. If you're tall the dress may be a bit short, just an FYI.  It's made fully out of cotton so the fabric is light and breathable. Might as well wear it one more time before it gets too cold!

Cutest Shift Dresses for Fall + How to Style Them

outfit details:
red wool hat (similar) II shift dress (Apricot Lane)

Happy fall everyone, it's about time for colder weather! I brought out my favorite shift dress for fall, I bought this last year from Apricot Lane for my senior pictures. Shift dresses are universally flattering on most body shapes and since they are simple, you can really dress them up with accessories. I usually pile on the accessories because that's my style, but you can keep it more casual. I've found some really cute ones that I'm sharing with you guys today, scroll down to see!

Wool hats are a necessity for fall fashion, they can be found in any store such as Francesca's (where I got mine). I think they really pull together the whole outfit -- not to mention they're great for bad hair days. If your shift dress is not patterned, wear a statement necklace or blanket scarf. I'm working with ilymix since they have really cute blanket scarves and if you use the code DALILADIEM20, you'll receive 20% off your purchase. Their shipping is free and it took about a week for my scarves to arrive; you'll see them in upcoming posts! If you're not into that a neutral colored faux fur vest will make your outfit look even more dressy.

I would pair a dark burgundy long sleeve shift dress with the fur vest I linked above. Wear black booties if your shift dress is black and brown booties for all other colors; this tends to make the color scheme of your outfit more cohesive. I just bought the black booties from Nordstrom, I recommend sizing up half a size. Also, they're currently 33% off right now and comes in a taupe color too. They're not uncomfortable at all so I'll definitely be putting them to use! They're also When I put together an outfit I take into account all the colors, texture of fabrics, and accessories -- the overall look is what I focus on. It's the small details that make an outfit stand out from the rest.

Floral Ruffle Top + Neutral Accessories

outfit details:

Happy Tuesday everyone! I got the chance to collaborate with Red Dress Boutique and they sent me these pieces. I picked out this top because I loved the ruffles and how unique it is, but you can also wear this day-to-day. I'd wear this outfit around town shopping or getting brunch, it's becoming one of my favorite outfits.

I'm wearing a size small in the top, if you have broad shoulders I suggest going up a size. The material is not stretchy, it's more of a chiffon-like fabric. This shirt has bell sleeves, which are really in right now. The shoes are super versatile and true to size; I'm wearing a 6.5 and it fits well. They're easy to walk in and comfortable, I had no problems walking. The light pink bag also can be transformed into a crossbody and goes with everything -- there's a cute paisley pattern lining on the inside. The bag actually holds a lot, I put a pair of shoes in there and there was still lots of space. It could be used as a cute diaper bag too.
